a sore that is not healing

Hi,

I have a sore that started as an in-grown hair or pimple on my inner thigh that is getting bigger and bigger. It started the size of a pimple, last Tuesday it was the size of my little finger nail, Friday it was the size of a dime and today it is the size of a nickle. There is a pink halo around it and it slightly mounded. It is only painful b/c it is in such a place that pulls and the scab keeps opening up. It is slightly itchy.

I've been putting tea tree oil on it. Not sure it is doing any good. I've thought of using clove oil or oregano oil on it.

Any ideas what is going on and how to treat this? I don't have a doc, nor the finaces to go to urgent care, not thtat I would want to go there unless I really had to go.
