I'm am really sorry to hear that your son has suffered so much. I can't offer much advice other than to suggest that you try and find a Bates teacher... Dr. Bates was an MD at the turn of the last century who developed a natural way to treat all manner of eye damage, including cataracts... there is a less active Bates forum here, also a very active Bates forum in yahoo groups, and finally an interesting web site called something like "imagination blindness" if you google "bates" and that title, you should find it. Someone who knows more about Bates may be able to give you more specific info, and help you find a bates professional.
