Re: Update
HI Ev,
I went to get some probiotics the other day but wasn't sure what to get just yet. They have an infant blend; do you think that would be a good one? It's made by Solaray. Ideally I'd like to get a wheat and dairy free form which this one was. The other powdered forms seemed to have something in them I didn't want. What about a multi-strain form? There are a few of those but I wasn't sure if I should just stick with the plain blends which have about 3 strains only.
I'm glad they are diagnosing also. I turned in his stool samples on Wednesday which takes 3-5 business days for the results.
I think I'm going to definitely not feed him any gluten foods for now (maybe I should avoid them too). I have to look and see which foods contain it because all I know are some grains. I was totally not even thinking because sometimes I would give him a bite of my toast or some other bread product which hello has gluten in it.....what was I thinking! I just tried him on some organic applesauce today and he seemed to do ok. I just let him play with it and feed himself. I helped him with a couple bites but I think he enjoyed being able to control the situation himself. If he does have a digestion problem what do I do? I guess the probiotics will help and then if I am just patient and go slowly with the food. What if his intestines are damaged; will probiotics help heal it? He hasn't had any more "blood" in his stool but the rumbling, gas and explosive watery poops are still happening.
Don't worry, there is no way they are going to get me to vaccinate my son!!!!! I was thinking about that since all this started. Since he is having digestive problems he may have been a prime candidate for a vaccine reaction.
