3) Bee pollen is wonderful for eliminating
allergies like Hay Fever. You should begin
eating it 6 weeks before allergy season. The
bee pollen (not to be confused with flower pollen) immunizes your immune system. Owen
Personally, I believe people shouldn’t have allergies if they have a clean liver and such.
On another level, there is evidence that suggests people need to be in contact with a wide range of possible allergens early in life to prevent reactions at a later age.
In my readings I’ve found where putting a tiny sample of the offending allergen under the tongue blocks the allergic reaction.
(Such as placing pollen from an offending grass under the tongue)
When I say small, I mean tiny. There is a medical procedure (very poor results and not widely used) where they place possibly offending allergens under the tongue to cause an allergic reaction.
So one could make the connection that:
A tiny amount may block an occurring reaction, while a larger amount may induce a reaction.
WARNING Will Robinson! Possibility of anaphylactic shock? I say this because if you are one of the few that have serious reactions and really wanted to try this (because you may be affected by a seasonal local weed). I would try this in the emergency ward of a hospital. Better safe than....
So bee pollen covers a large range of plants people may be allergic to.
However, that statement may not be true. You’ve seen clover or orange honey, these are where the bee hives are stationed in large fields of clover or acres of orange trees.
The honey is tainted by the larger proportion of pollen from those crops and thusly gives the added kick to the word honey.
Orange Honey! Sage Honey! Clover Honey! Makes you mouth water doesn’t it?....;-)
Therefore if one could, it would be better to get local bee pollen as it should include the offending pollen you’re suffering from.
Going Extreme.
If I moved to a location and found I had allergies (I have none), I would trap some bees and steal the pollen balls off their legs and place them under my tongue.
But then, I’m just that kinda guy....;-)
