ana posted something for me in response to a similar question i asked. its all about how to start your own spiralina colony, where to get the starter colony from etc. it was pretty thorough. if you asked her, i bet she still has that link somewhere. i will look for it myself and see if i can find it. i wanted to do it in a small portable fountain, but discovered its really not big enough. a small pond however, it big enough. and the great thing about it is that you can eat it fresh, not dried and powderized.

of course its a living breathing thing and needs to be tended to. if you do it, please post about it, i would be very interested in seeing how it goes.
