Re: need suggestions for protein powder
Dear Katie.
About a year ago, Doctor David Williams
devoted one entire print newsletter to the
healing powers of whey protein. Much of what
he said was a surprise to me. But I trust
him implicitly, so I stocked in some whey
protein. I buy the 365 housebrand from Whole
Foods Market.
I take two spoonfuls a day in my mid-morning
juice. It certainly hasn't hurt me. I've
enjoyed the best health and fitness of my
long life in this last year.
Bee pollen is a superb source of protein.
I've been grinding a heaping teaspoonful of
bee pollen, together with my golden flax
seed, for three or four years. I get my
bee pollen from Beehive Botanicals. They sell
a pound of organic bee pollen for about $17.00.
They often have buy-one-get-one-free-sales.
I expect such a sale in early July. Their
website is:
http://www.beehivebotanicals.com
Their phone is 1-800-BEEHIVE
It's a small company in Wisconsin, and the
people who run it are very pleasant.
Hope this helps you, Katie.
Blessings,
Owen
