I can only tell you what worked for me (it's something I decided to do because NO ONE was ever able to even try to be helpful, mystery I guess). When I was 45, I had a cyst on one of my eyelids for about a year (didn't hurt) and everybody I asked, didn't know (or care) anything that could be done. It didn't bother me, so I left it. But one day, I decided to stop being lazy and simply washed it away with liquid anti-bacterial soap, but you should probably still get a doctor to wash the babies eyes (since sensitivity is likely, they probably will still find a way to charge you a fortune and even still also sell you a year's worth of drugs for "babyitis" or something).
