obstructing 7mm Kidney stone in the left Ureter

I was diagnosed with multiple stones a week ago. Five 2-3mm stones and one 4mm stone in the left kidney, one 5mm stone in the right kidney and one 7mm stone in the left Ureter. The 7mm stone is causing an obstruction. I tried to get an appointment with my urologist the next day, but can only get into see him on the 30th of this month. My question and concern is this: Isn't waiting two weeks too long? Could this blockage cause severe damage to my system if left untreated for such a long period of time?
