good advice.
yes do not drink while eating, it dilutes the acids in stomach that help break down
foods, chew food slowly to get the saliva flowing which helps break down foods
before they even enter the stomach.
If you must sip , to moisten that is minor.. but water only at room temperature.
Sodas , stimulant drinks, alcohol, etc all are dehydrators.
altho many folks partake of them with meals.
also avoid bottled juices and highly sugared drinks.
water and sour drinks often quench thirst faster, than sweet drinks.
(little side note that women learn if go thru pg classes about birthing)
so if you don't like plain taste of water,
add a few squeezes of fresh lemon, or a nice herbal tea.
most regular brown teas are dehydrating as well.
Keep a journal and every time you notice the occurance you describe,
write down what you recently ate and drank, and even maybe what youhad been
doing at the time ? ie: watching TV, kids fighting/, phone ringing, loud music playing, noisy environment/ hurried food eating.. late at night etc.
you will track it down I am sure when you do that.
There are certain *good foods* that really are ok for others,
that i now avoid because they affect ME creating a dry mouth
after eating also.
It might even be a spice... I have reactions to certain spices.
Oh yeah don't eat too soon after a exercise thing,
and also sometimes we eat.. when really our bodies are really saying drink!
so try to make a habit, if you feel hungry,
to drink a small glass of not cold water or herbal tea or fresh squeezed juice.
the kidneys will process this in about 20/30 minutes,
so if still hungry then, go ahead and eat.
Things off top of my head..
hope something there helps you ,
Love,
