removal of scar???

Hi, I ended up having to get a mole about the size of a pencil eraser that stuck out about 1/8 of an inch, taken off of the side of my nose last June. The excision has left a "crater" type scar and is very visible. There is a perfect "scoop" mark/scar where it was actually scooped out by the dermatologist. No amount of makeup will cover the dang thing up because it scoops in like it does. And it is a perfectly round scar so it doesn't look like a "natural" scar. I have been contemplating plastic surgery on it and I really wish there was a natural route I could take instead. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? I would love to hear them! Thanks
