Most likely some kind of composite material. Could have been Porcelain/Ceramic too. If they shined a light in you mouth to harden the material, it was composite.

There are a bunch of different composites. Wintergreen is right, you prob need to contact your denist at that time. Or if you can get your dental records, they might tell you.
