Thank You so much! I never thought about mold. I WILL get rid of the carpet. I also live with my mom and grandfather, and my mom has hardwood floors in her room, and she has had a bad dry coughf for many months, and grandfather has very very old carpet in his room and bad allergies for years. mold could very well be it and the dust sure doesnt help. the rest of the house has 5 to 8 year old carpet. This house is VERY old, and since you mentioned mold, its probably afecting all of us, and alot of it probably comes from the house its self, not just the carpet, if mold is it. How could i find out? Its very very hard to convince my grandpa of ANYTHING, he is very subbourn and set in his ways. When i say that i think its the carpet that is making me sick, he just laughs and thinks im crazy, or perhaps thinks im making it up. Would anyone have any ideas how to get through to him? Oh, if its in the paper or on the news he WILL belive it (oppisite of me).
