Hey there! I posted this on Ask Barefoot Herbalist, but because of the relatively low number of posts on there, I decided to post here.... It's a much buzier forum...
Anyway, here goes: Does anybody think that taking chlorella tablets actually counts as "eating food"?? I like taking them in the morning (I take them three times a day), but I also need to take my amino acids because my stomach is empty. I realize that the cell wall is broken on the chlorella to aid in digestion, but since chlorella is basically a plant, couldn't the body sense that food is in my stomach and subsequently releaze the enzymes that may destroy the efficacy of the aminos? Strange question, I know --- I just want to make sure I'm not throwing money away and not getting the benefits for the aminos... Any input is greatly appreciated!
