The peroxide goes in your EAR canal, not your nose. The nasal irrigation should only have water and salt (about 1 cup to 1/4 tsp salt is good). The irrigation might burn the first few times but after a couple days it goes away. It burned me when I first used it, but no more. I think it burned because I had a low grade infection and raw skin being exposed to salt.
