Re: Building Muscle
Dear Sjtho,
I suggest you give whey protein a try. I've been using
it for 15 years, and I'm very satsified with it.
At 64, I have the best muscle tone of my life.
Doctor David Williams devoted an entire newsletter
recently to the wonders of whey protein. It benefits
the entire body, not just the muscles.
Not everyone agrees with me and Doctor Williams. Some
people feel that any protein supplement is harmful.
Others feel that whey protein was designed for baby
calves and not for humans. You'll have to trust your
intuition about who to believe. I know it hasn't done
me any harm.
I currently use Designer Whey protein, which is what
Williams recommends in his newsletter. I used to buy
365 Whey Protein from Whole Foods Market. Both of these
are good products.
Give it a try and see what happens. I take a spoonful
at mid-day, and another just one hour before I go to
bed.
You also mentioned arthritis. You might want to try
a bottle of Sea Cucumber capsules. Sea Cucumber is
a plant-like animal that can be found in tropical
oceans. It's been used for ages to relieve the aches
and pains of connective tissue disorders. I read a
compelling testimonial in the Herbal Healer Academy
newsletter; a woman who said that Sea Cucumber had immediately
relieved a terribly torn cartilege in her knee. So
I bought a bottle of 100 caps (under $15.00) and gave
it to a friend my age who has suffered from arthritis
forever. She took two capsules a day -- and in 3 days,
her
Arthritis aches and pains were gone. I realize
that's anecdotal, but you might want to do some
research on Sea Cucumber.
Good luck with your healing program! I will keep you
in my prayers.
Blessings,
Owen
