This concerns phlegm and the other junk that appears in the back of the throat sometimes. Quite by accident I discovered that mustard and horseradish sauce has a really fast effect on phlegm. I have experimented using half a teaspoon of strong mustard or horseradish sauce, and a small amount of water, using this mixture as a gargle. It burns a little, but after a couple of minutes thick 'worms'of phlegn appear in the mouth whereupon they can be spat out along with the mustard mixture. My question is this:- Is the mustard/horseradish 'drawing out' old phlegm, or is it causing the body to produce new phlegm as a protection.
I would really like to know if this is a useful practice or not. Thanks guys.
