Re: elimination systems need to be in good order
Hi,
and bless your heart. I have been told that when you detox, it puts a heavy strain on the elimination systems (bowels, kidneys, skin, liver). I would think it would be very important to be having at least 1 bm per day. You might want to slow down on the detox and maybe add some herbs to cleanse the kidneys, eat lots of raw fruits & veggies to keep things flowing there (lot of oranges would be great!), and take hot baths with some
Epsom Salts added to bath water (sometimes I also add powdered ginger too). I would avoid commercial soaps that might tend to clog the pores if you have an alternative.
Also I would think that drinking plenty of distilled water (I've heard the bottle water is also toxic and homemade is best--but most people don't have a water distiller), second best would be fresh fruit juices or filtered water. And of course, the less junk foods the better, your system is already fighting to rid itself of the mercury toxins, you don't need added toxins on top of that.
I, like you, tried to detox a little before removal (which I still don't have all mine out). I had cut out all meat, very little dairy, very little coffee, and eating mostly raw. This one particular time I was eating a lot of parsley & lemon juice in tabouli salad and lots of cilantro pesto (recipe from owen here at the curezone). I got the most horrid headache and pains in my kidneys (just like one other time I had a kidney infection years ago). I knew it was the detoxing and thought it would eventually pass. After 2 days, I gave up. Now when I eat the cilantro pesto (which I dearly love), I have to take it slower and if I start to feel slight discomfort in the kidney area, I really slow down. And since that time I have cleansed the kidneys & it must have helped.
So, try taking the detox a little slower. It may take months, but it's got to come out. The others who have responded have good suggestions too (I think).
Good luck,
Betty
