I'm a fairly healthy person who takes supplements and eats right. For the past few years, I have had an odd symptom of shivering when I get in bed at night. The house and my body are warm, but it is like ice water is surging through my veins and my whole body shivers and this can last a long time. During the day, I seem to be warmer than most people, have heard many comments about how warm my hands are. Rarely do I shiver during the day, but once in a great while, I will get a chill out of nowhere that causes this to happen for just seconds.
Can anyone give me some insight into what might be causing this to happen or what I can do to alleviate the problem. I am sore all over this morning from tensing up while shivering last night.
