I live in New England and its between $150-$300 per tooth depending on the filling material. You also have to account for equipment fees (rubber damn, negative ion, oxygen, etc). They generally run $70 per session collaboratively. If you have to do 4 quadrants, figure on paying $300 total. I've got about 8 Amalgams (some very small) and I got an estimate for under 2k.

If you have insurance, they will cover the minimal up to the mercury Amalgam cost and what Dentists on avg charge in your state. Holistic Dentists generally charge more so the difference will be paid by you. I figure my insurance will cover a minimum of 40% of the total cost (Hopefully more). So all in all, I will expect to pay about a grand when it’s all said and done. Not bad IMO, and if money was a huge factor, I'd just put it on my cc and pay it off slowly. Your health is worth it.

Best,PB
