possible misdiagnosis: MS vs. Lyme's disease

I believe I may have been misdiagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Do you know of any cases where a patient actually has Lyme's disease and was misdiagnosed? It has been 7 years now and I am wondering how to proceed in investigating this path. How can I find out more information about chronic Lyme's disease? My sense is that this is what stage I'm in, but I am having a difficult time finding sufficient information about it.
