Candida or Gout? I would doubt that your finger inflamation has anything to do with either, but then who knows, perhaps there is some weird correlation between the two conditions. As a long time gout sufferer, I have suspected that I also have candidiasis. Along with the traditional big toe, I have had gout attacks in my ankles, knees, wrists and knuckles, but never down in the fingers themselves. And also, gout normally attacks only one joint at a time, although it is known to jump from one to another repeatedly.
I am now able to control my gout completely by avoiding all foods that would tend to lower my blood PH, and by guzzling massive amounts of water at the first sign of an approaching attack.
