Re: Whey protein

Hi Haze -
I'm not a big fan of whey as many people are sensitive to it as they are to dairy - even if it is "lactose-free."

As with many foods, there is a big debate as to whether it is an alkalizing food or acid - with people on both sides of the fence.

I think ultimately it is wise to see whether or not it agrees with your system. And also to consider why you want to incorporate it into your diet.

I know that "protein shakes," etc. are very popular -- but I think there are so many better choices. A "green food" drink would be a better choice in my opinion with some quality green food supplements. Unless you are trying to use it as a meal replacement, in which case I would recommend Ultimate Meal instead. There is another product that is similar to Ult Meal that is cheaper too (forgot the name) that would also be good.

Hope that helps!

Kelly
