Omega 3 Fish oil Important in prevent Heart Disease

Omega 3 Fish Oil may help the heart by thinning the blood and by declining blood levels of homocysteine. Blood clots play a major role in heart attacks, and homocysteine is an amino acid that appears to raise the risk of heart disease. The American Heart Association recommends healthy people eat Omega 3 Fish oil from fish and plant sources to protect their hearts. Increasing omega 3 fatty acid intake through foods is preferable. The primary sources of omega 3 food are corn, soy, canola, safflower and sunflower , flaxseed , walnut , and fish oil. However, coronary artery disease patients may not be able to get enough omega 3 by diet alone. These people may want to talk to their doctor about taking a Omega 3 supplement .
