emotions are not right or wrong they just are. its not a quesiton of the inner child is correct, its just a matter of thats how the inner child feels and it okay that the child feels that way, doesn't mean right or wrong, just that its okay to feel that way, tell yourself that its okay, that how i feel, the emotions are there, its okay to feel, its okay to feel that way, i acknwledge those emotions, they are real, and its okay.

also tell your inner child that you understand that your inner child is actually really angry about something else, things that may have happened years ago, and that this incident is just a trigger for that anger to come out.

its intersting you tell a story about going ot your room instead of your parents. why did you do that? why didn't you feel okay with going to your parents for comfort or understanding in that moment? those are improtant questions you need to ask yourself and listen for an answer. ask your inner child why do you feel so needy and abandoned? why? what do you need? tell your iner child you are there to help.

it may sound weird but i ahve gained healing from sitting quietly with my inner child and just listening and acknowledging the voice and what it says. sometimes it just needs to be heard, other times it needs to know that you will not abandon or repress certain needs, that you will stand up to defend yourself and speak up for yourself and your needs.

i dont know if any of this is helping, its just what helps me deal with my inner child, hopefully it will help wiht yours.
