Re: 73 Vaccines in the First 18 Months of Life

Just to give you an idea of how much pressure we get from our doctors...My oldest is 5 when I started asking questions to our pediatrician about the safety of vaccinations. He assured me there were rarely any side effects. Well, my 5 year old appears to have behavior issues and is showing signs of ADD. When my next child came along, who is now 3, I questioned again. Of course the same answer, by our new Dr. My 3 year old got very high fevers (103) very lethargic and crabby every time he had vaccinations. He seems to now have a low immune system. The schools tell us the vaccines are mandatory. However in our state, (MI) you can sign a waiver which is never told to you. A friend of ours just went through 2 months of seziures due to the DTaP...confirmed by her Allergist and Neurologist, but denied by her pediatrician even though she had 4 of the 6 side effects lists. Now with my newborn whom has leg tremors, I finally asked for an alternative schedule, given to me by my regular Dr. My ped. dr told me I have to trust him because he has done the research for 10 years and is a father of 4 whom all have been vaccinated. I explained that due to the side effects my older children seem to have, I'd like to consider an alternative schedule. (which suggests the life threatening vaccines and no more than 2 at a time, and are spread-out over a longer time period). He said he has seen these schedules and that there was nothing scientific to validate against multi-dosing, but didn't say much else. 2 days later we received a letter in the mail from the Dr's office stating that if we don't comply to the standard schedule, we can find another doctor. They bully us and try to strong arm us and because everyone else is vaccinting we feel the pressure to comply. Especially when your told they can't go to school without them. I'm learning at the expense of my children! And am now on a search to find a doctor willing to respect our decision.
My sympathies to you and your family for the loss of an innocent baby!
