Re: south park last night said it best!

Why is everyone blaming the goverment? Her parents and husband brough this before the legal system the goverment set in place long ago....the "goverment" did not seek them out. What was the legal system to do....turn down their request to a trial so they would not get blamed for this as everyone is doing? Was the goverment to deny the insane amount of requests from the press and the public to make statements and to react to this issue? By responding people blame them for exploiting her...if they didnt respond they woudl be cold and everyone would be screaming for the goverment to do something. It was her families right to bring this to trial, whether we agree with it or not. It was the goverments responsibility to hear the case and act accordingly....which they did. The goverment is not exploiting anything, only granting her family and husband the proper forum to resolve this issue. In addition, the media is the one blasting this all over the place....not the "goverment".

I wish everyone would stop blaming the "goverment" for everything....blame her family and her husband for bring the issue to the court system if you disagree with it. Blame the media for the coverage they are placing out in the world. Blame everyone who watches those stories because the media brings stories that our society wants to watch for whatever reason they want to watch them.

South Park Rocks!
