Wow, the lack of effort on the Husbands part to rehabilitate her and teach her to live again, is amazing.

So why didnt he just Divorce her. I think when your partner has brain damage (especially for many years) you are allowed to move on, legally anyway. I am not sure of the laws pertaining to the issue. You can divorce for much smaller reasons though, so this should be an acceptable reason.

She obviously did not want to die, if her soul is holding on to her body for this long without food or water.

I think that her parents were not properly advised in this case.

Its very disgusting who the US legal system chooses to favor.
