Re: My Lab Tests are back

Hi, there,

Did your doctor tell you that she got the results back, or did she actually show you the results (i.e. the actual analysis, in written form) from the lab?

It's time for you to decide what you're going to do.

If you really want to go under the knife and get rid of your gall bladder, then go for it.

I have nothing to lose or to gain either way. I'm not a member of the "Save Our Gallbladders" religion, and I'll still talk to you if you decide to have yours removed. *grin*

I doubt that's what you want, though, or you wouldn't be here.

If it were me, I'd do another flush, take some stones, and find a lab on my own, without my doctor's knowledge.

But all the usual "I am not a doctor" warnings apply.

I can tell you that I have passed real live gallstones, both with and without flushes. I know what they look like. Without a flush, they hurt(!!!) when they come out! It's a tickle with the flush (at least, for me, so far, it has been).

My "doctor" (*spit*) told me that I had to have my gallbladder removed, too. That was fourteen months ago. Guess what? He was wrong.

My dad did have his gallbladder removed years ago. His digestion has been rotten ever since. He drinks Pepto-Bismol right from the bottle. Speaking of rotten, the man's "wind" could be bottled up and used for chemical warfare.

Just because you can survive without your gall bladder doesn't mean you don't need it.
