The Gonzales protocal was actually hyjacked from Dr. Kelly's protocal the guy who cured himself of pancreatic cancer and created metabolic typing, which was also hyjacked and bastardized by wolcott while working as an agent for the establishhment!
Gonzalas was also an agent sent in to discredit Kelly but found his protocal too compelling and some how was rewarded the right to use Kelly's info at his own clinic!
It is effective but it's not Gonalez's work but his thievery!
