Woody just gave you some excellent
advice, Shannal.
Dear Shannal,
I emphatically second Woody's suggestion that
you contact the Hippocrates Health Institute
in West Palm Beach, Florida. If I were ever
seriously ill, Hippocrates is the only healing
spa I'd consider going to.
I live about 20 miles south of Hippocrates.
I've visited the spa perhaps ten times in the
last ten years. It's located back in the
woods which are west of the city. You'd never
find it if you didn't have good directions.
Brian Clement, the director of Hippocrates,
has created a spa which I liken to the Garden
Of Eden. Everytime I go there, I feel like I've come Home. The landscaping is fabulous,
and the people who work there are genuinely
friendly and compassionate human beings.
Most of the patients at Hippocrates are
people who've been told by their doctors
to get their affairs in order. And in spite
of the fact that so many patients are terminally ill, a goodly number walk out of
Hippocrates some months later having regained
their health. Those who don't, die in peace
and harmony.
The food is good beyond belief. Everyone eats
buffet-style, and all of the food is raw and
alive. Brian is a master at preparing succulent dishes that even a fast-food junkie
would savor. His book, Living Foods For Optimum Health, is a must-read.
Hippocrates also has a 24-hour wheatgrass bar,
in a room near the lobby. Patients can go to
the "bar" at any hour, and pour themselves
big glasses of fresh wheatgrass juice, which
is nature's perfect food. Brian grows all of
his own wheatgrass and sprouts in a greenhouse
on the grounds.
Very often, the patients who enroll at Hippocrates, are despondent and depressed.
However, they quickly find themselves surrounded by upbeat, happy people who KNOW
they're on the Healing Path; people who were
also deeply discouraged when they arrived,
but have now seen their health improve significantly. That joyous positivity is vastly important to someone who's given up
hope.
If you live anywhere near West Palm Beach,
give Hippocrates a call. Once a month, they
have an open house on Sunday night. You
can eat a splendid dinner, get a tour of
the grounds, see a 30 minute movie about the
spa, and meet and talk with enrolled patients.
I'm pretty sure you'll fall in love with it,
just like I did. The Hippocrates Institute is
what Healing is all about.
Blessings,
Owen
