Yea when I read that in Gerson's book I was a bit puzzled. Of course some other things are curious as well: no pineapples, no berries. He also highly recommends daily consumption of oatmeal, yet I've never seen an explanation as to why. To me, oatmeal seems like an innocent enough food, but why the daily consumption? No potassium, enzymes, etc...but it must serve some purpose...I'd like to know what it is.
