kathryn: update on cousin

hi kathryn, (or others) i cut this exerpt from a e-mail from my cousin and i thought i see what your feedback on this is. what do think is happening? what do you think these symtoms are from? any ideas on what to do? i don't know if you have read anything on this kind of stuff or not before but i thohgt i would ask.
