That's a tough question. Perhaps her body needs to fast, so that her immune system will be free to concentrate on healing itself. I would keep taking
both the AHCC and the Pau d'Arco, but it is YOU and
your Mom who will have to make that final decision.

Is your mother overweight? If so, then she can stop
eating for awhile, and benefit from the rest that her
digestive organs will be given. However, if her appetite
doesn't return in a reasonable time, then she might
want to stop taking the supplements.
