I strongly suggest she takes from now on at least 150mg of COq10 and a regular good amounts of Vitamin C about 4000mg a day or more. Theres plenty of resources on this net to study up on these and more. Increase the amount of Anti-oxidants she takes and boost the immune system. Look into the basic protocol below
