You may want to get a second opinion on the transplant after you have recovered from your surgery, Some research has said that if you are in general good health and your kidneys are not affected, it can be a good treatment. The IMF can direct you further. Just beware that it is a major undertaking for you and your wife, and can take a long to recover. However it does free you up from taking meds all the time.

My husband has not had a lot of bone pain, but it is a common problem. Talk to your doctor about pain control meds. If I find any info, on it I will be sure to let you know!
