Oats and Sea salt

Hi every-one . Hope your all well. After trying and rejecting Aveeno cream because of the skin IRRITANTS in it, I decided to try Salcura lotion, but after a few days I found that THAT was making my p worse, even though the ingredients are supposedly natural. Anyway I decided to try a concoction of my own. I know that oatmeal is very good for softening the P. scales and the Dead Sea Salt and minerals are said to be good for P. So, I decided to make up my own treatment. Put about 3 dessert spoons of oats in about 1/2 pint of water and boil them until they are a nice creamy consistancy. Then strain them through a fine cloth to get out all the bits, then add about 1 teaspoon of ordinary Sea Salt , which you can get very cheaply at the supermarket. If the mixture is too thick, just add drops of water until it resembles the consistancy of a moisturiser. Apply this as often as you can, and store it in the fridge. I have found that with frequent use,[ about 3 times a day ] My P. is so much better!. It's flatter, less red and it looks like its clearing up!! You can't get anything much cheaper than oats and Sea Salt can you. and there's no nasties in it to do any harm. Hope some of you give this a try and let me know what you think. Bye for now.
