Re: SHARING SOME SUCCESS
Most of an e-mail I sent to Youngblood
Hi Youngblood,
My name is Angela! I see that my yahoo e-mail address is where this will be coming from but you can reach me at ajinx71067@aol.com. On the third page of the
Psoriasis chat forum, I have 3 separate postings that you might want to take a look at. It seems that you & I have come to a lot of the same conclusions about the cause of psoriasis. Actually, I've read a lot of information that leads me to believe that an overabundance of acidity & candidas are also big factors in the cause & are closely associated with leaky gut syndrome. It seems that more people are educating themselves outside of the medical community for every illness imaginable. We have had to become human guinea pigs in order to really heal our bodies.
Most of what you said about the changes to make to heal
Psoriasis sounds like much of the conclusions I've come to! You may be 100% correct about every change you suggest but I think there might be ways around some of the more difficult things to change. I do think that everyone should search for healthier choices to the horrible packaged carbs we eat today. There really are some good alternatives out there. I also agree that we should limit our intake of pork, beef & dairy products but again, I think there are some healthier choices available. I also think those options will increase & become more readily available since the major manufacturers are starting to realize that the public is educating themselves about everything. I think the biggest mistake we all make is relying on fast food & pre-packaged meals along with junk food to comprise the majority of our dietary intake. I don't think that most foods, when made with the most natural ingredients, left in their most natural states & when combined properly are the real cause of the problem. I believe we need to do a good thorough cleanse, get out ALL the build up of waste, remove all toxins & parasites, do a cleanse that will restore order to all our organs & return our bodies to a proper PH balance.
Just an FYI if you are into "Adkins" type diets: My family has a close personal friend that never had
Psoriasis until a few months into a diet like this. Diets that focus on more protein -which is difficult for our bodies to process & break down-& limit or ban intake of healthy fruits that our bodies need-throws our whole body into chaos & adds to the problem of Leaky Gut Syndrome. From what I've learned, our bodies need a certain percentage of a variety of natural foods from the food pyramid in order to perform correctly along with truly good nutritional supplements (since our soil is so depleted of the nutrients). We do need protein, fruits, vegetables, dairy, etc.; so I can’t help but believe that excluding any one nutritious food source from our diets is a mistake. Each source of food including fats (natural-not trans fats, etc.) is needed by the body to perform a specific function. I've come to think that we run into health problems because we don't eat a
healthy Diet from birth onward, we don't exercise properly, we're overloaded with stress & a host of other mistakes we've made along the way. What's worse is that there is no major information about all this by a respected organization like the AMA or the FDA posted as intensely as commercials for diet aids, fast food & gimmick solutions. It can be difficult for companies & manufacturers to profit if people know what's necessary to live a healthy life free from disease. I believe that doing a cleanse & restoring your body to it original "like new" condition, planning healthy meals based on the food pyramid, getting proper exercise & drinking lots of water is the way to live a healthy life that's manageable.
A few more thoughts have come to mind while I've been writing this: You're right about sweating out the toxins but summer's here in the south are like saunas--exercising out doors in heavy clothing could lead to heat strokes. It might be better to keep it indoors & always drink plenty of fluids & keep water handy.
Another good way to draw toxins from the skin is in the bath. Start first by using a natural bristle brush to do a "dry" brush from your feet all the way up to your neck just before you get in the bath. You can go to Home Depot or stores like that & purchase something called Potassium Chloride by Diamond Crystal. It's a 40-pound bag of small "salt-like" rocks that is used in water softening systems in the home. The systems are expensive but the bag is only about 8-10 dollars. I add a large handful to my bath water & soak for about 10 minutes while I do other things like shave & scrub my face. Then I take a small "nail" brush (smaller than a harmonica, costs 1-2 dollars) & start brushing in a circular motion from my feet up. You can find a multi-purpose 4-in-1 Pedicure Paddle that has a metal file surface (good for removing calluses on the feet) a pumice stone (good to soften heals, toes & balls of the feet) a smooth file (good for perfect finish on the whole foot) & a brush head (that I personally use to reach the hard-to-reach places on my back) for just a few dollars. Once I've finished with the wet brushing, I lay back & soak for at least another 20-30 minutes to give the potassium chloride time to draw out more toxins & it's more effective once the dead skin is removed from the whole body. This has provided me with considerable relief & has started to heal the skin from the outside. I think I will have to make the internal changes first before the psoriasis is gone but I know that the PC is working because even the large areas of psoriasis are turning to clear skin in the middle. Mostly all that's left are rings of psoriasis around the outer edges.
Also, I mentioned water ionizers in my previous posts but I didn't make the connection to its benefits or realize why I knew it would work until just now. I haven't received the ionizer yet, but I did buy "oxygen rich water" to apply topically over a year ago & had the same results as I've had with the potassium chloride. That was worrying me! I had this feeling that it would work that had nothing to do with what I read at the site or about alkaline/acidic water. Now I really believe that the
Water Ionizer will heal inside & out.
So these are things that I know to have positive results for clearing psoriasis.
Body Flex--will absolutely work, clear you completely & probably keep you clear if you can continue with it (I wasn't able to continue because of illness but it was the only thing that ever cleared me up.) Now I do believe in an oxygen-based cleansing approach because the breathing technique was the key to all the benefits-the weight lost & clearing me completely of psoriasis plus a lot more energy!
Potassium Chloride--does remove toxins through the skin & is a very effective topical approach! I bet it would work great with a cleansing approach.
Oxygen rich water--had similar results when applied topically as I found with Potassium Chloride. I think a
Water Ionizer would provide the oxygen water for both the internal & external use & would really heal when working from both directions.
Add all the good advice & personally results from everyone in this forum & we may just find the cure ourselves!
Hopefully, this additional information will help you with your progress. I have purchased a water ionizer, Bioxy cleanse & a few other products that should be here by the end of the week. I will post any results I have just as soon as I know what’s working.
