drinking water, still dehydrated?

Hi Shelley,

I posted a message recently about frequent urination (about 8 to 10 times a day)I drink about 8-10 glasses water a day. You suggested i drink cranberry juice to clear yeast from the urinary tract. I have been doing this at least once a day for over a week and will continue. I am following the anti candida diet, taking antifungals and probiotics. My naturopath doctor diagnosed me with systemic candidiasis. I eat plenty of veggies, a little fruit and some brown basmati rice. I do also eat rice cakes with nut butter when i'm rushed in the morning.

However, one problem i have had for quite a while is rather dry, compact bm's. I have read your notes in the FAQ about this and i thought increasing liquids would help but i still have the relatively dry bm (usually one bm a day in the morning, sometimes 2) Thinking about this further, am i dehydrated because i urinate frequently? When i wake up in the morning my mouth feels very dry and also i get sort of headache, brainfog. Not sure if this is due to cleansing or because i'm dehydrated.
Does candida cause dehydration?

Do i just drink more water? What else can i do?

Thanks so much for your help.
