Re: Embarrassing

oh sweetie we talk about that kind of thing all the time here! :)

Yeast is white, if you see colors then there are bacteria or protozoa involved. Waht happens is after a long yeast infection the environment becomes friendly for opportunistic microbes. But they're easy to get rid of, you just have to cleanse and rebalance things.

The vagina IS a path of elimination, and it will be used as such when the other main paths are overworked and candida will go there to avoid anti-fungals. You know how in an apartment complex, if they fumigate for cockroaches in just one apartment, the roaches just go to the next? same thing with anti-fungals. They make the intestines a mite unpleasant for the yeasties, so they go elsewhere. It's one of the reasons why I don't recommend doing a lot of antifungals. They're pretty much a waste of money.

So here's what you want to do:

Cleanse the bowels *thoroughly* preferably with a combination of enemas/colonics, a fiber or oxygen-based cleanser, and supplementing with probiotics to replace friendly flora - acidophilus is the main one.

To address the localized infection, you need to thoroughly cleanse the vagina. Douches don't really work. You have to actually use your longest finger and wipe the walls of the vagina clean. Just rinse it under running tap water in between wipes. Then take a gelatin capsule of live acidophilus and use it as a suppository. Do this for at least 7 days. You'll have to wear a panty liner as there will be discharge. Don't use tampons for at least a month and try not to wear any clothing at night - take an air bath, it really helps. If there's any kind of irritation, Blistex is fantastic for the labia. :)

It would be best to do this while mostly fasting or keeping to an anti-candida diet, as that diet supports the immune system. You should be cleansing the lymphs as often as possible (detox baths, dry brushing, rebounding etc.), drinking plenty of fluids, and if your tongue is coated drink ginger and peppermint tea.

You didn't mention any other symptoms so I'm not sure how much of the other stuff you have to do, but these are the main things!

Hope that helps! :)
