Okay, for spider veins or varicose veins, you do need to increase circulation (cayenne, rosemary, exercise, skin brushing), reduce clotting factors (ginger, garlic), and to strengthen the veins you need more ginger, garlic and onions, bromelain (an enzyme found in pineapples or you can buy), dark berries have good vein food, and the usual skin foods - A, E, zinc, beta-carotene. Eating a sweet potato with lots of butter most days will help loads! as will cod liver oil. :)
To help prevent more damage in the legs, be sure to elevate your legs as often as possible. When you sit and relax, put your feet up so that they are higher than your hips.
