Re: is it candida?
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Yes, vaginal yeast infections are candida, and the fact that you keep getting them means you have systemic candidiasis - it's imbalanced all through your body. Candida albicans is the actual name for what is commonly known as yeast.
Don't do the master cleanse, it has too much sugar, which is what yeasties feed upon. YOu do need to cleanse, but would be better off on a fast of digestive teas such as peppermint, ginger, Yogi Tea's India Spice, and broths. You can drink the
Master-Cleanse drink occasionally if you use molasses as the sweetener and add Apple Cider Vinegar. See the FAQ for the recipe and notes on why you should add ACV.
After the fast, you must take care to repopulate your acidophilus both internally - gut - and vaginally. Simply buy live acidophilus capsules from the refrigerated section of a heatlh food store and take one 2x daily, and use one as a suppository after finger douching, using your finger to wipe the walls of your vagina clean, rinsing the finger clean each time, then use a capsule and panty liners. Never use tampons until the infection is long gone.
Please read the FAQ for more info on cleansing, candida, lymph cleansing, power of digestion, etc., as this issue is a holistic issue and needs to be addressed holistically.
Good luck! :)
