A good healthy tongue should have tiny papellae (sp?) on it. Which basically means feathery bumps. It's okay if these get a bit of white on them sometimes, but not all the time. Now if you mean literally bumps, like pimple bumps, that are large, then you may have a problem. Take a picture and send it to me if you're not sure which you have, or start looking at your friends tongues. :)
