Re: Science of sugar craving

There's really no good way for the body to translate a need for energy into a flavor that is protein based, so it goes for the one that we really respond to, which is sugar. But relying on simple carbs for energy is a losing game. Energy requires complex carbs, protein and fats all at once. If we get Sugar all by itself we overwork our pancreas, adrenals, and make huge withdrawals from our bank of minerals.
