Depends on the source of the chlorophyll.

Most liquid chlorophylls are refined in such a way that you could say it is pasteurized, and that's actually okay. The problem is many liquid chlorophylls don't have a lot of chlorophyll, so stick to Dr. jensen's brand if you can. You won't get the enzymes, but you'll get the rest of the goodness.

Or get your chlorophyll from Chlorella. There's a brand that Dr. Mercola recommends as being quite good. Chlorella does have to be cooked somewhat because the outer layer of the cells is a cellulose that we can't penetrate with our gastric juices. Cooking breaks the tough outer layer so we can access the chlorophyll.
