You might try some hydrogen peroxide in the rabbit's water... This is just "stabbing in the dark" but what have you got to lose? I think they use like 20 or 25 drops of the 35% H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) in a cup or a pint of water... a pint would be safe I should think. It might start chasing the infection back...
