What is a colon irrigation is it the same as cleaning the intestines from parasites?

Im 27 years old and just found out that I have gallstones. The Dr recommended surgery but im a bit skeptical of having an organ
removed. I have been reading on the gallstone cleansings and Im going to try it out. My questions is I have read that it important to
cleans the intestines from parasites, another recommendation was to get a colon irrigation. I don't know what the difference it. I
called my Dr to get a colon irrigation, im hopping he will aprove it. Do I need to do both? How can I clean my intestines from parasites
I could not find recipes for it. Or can I simply do the gallstone cleansing with out either?
