How's The Weather In Corporateville?
You mean it has nothing to do with corporate greed? All my research for nothing then. Articles, books, contacts of scientists, doctors, lawyers, and the hundreds of people who have fallen between the cracks, and you managed to clear it all up in a few sentences. Well, thanks so much.
Buddy4me says:
"They" are compensated for their time that they spend reviewing other peoples papers, because they could be using that time to do their own research."
Like scientists of our time ever get to decide on research that they want to do. Pure research is a thing of the past. More like: research x,y and z and make sure it's patentable. You of all people should know this. You are afterall a "real", honest to goodness, scientist aren't you? You say you are so you must be.
Well I guess it's back to doing your "science" then. Don't let reality get in your way.
