What is the input for the transformer used in th syncrometer.

I wouls appreciate it if someone tell me the input for the transformer used in Dr Clarks's syncrometer. The output was specified minimum 800-900 ohm. I am unable to make a syncrometer without the input. If i am unable to find a 800 ohm output transformer, will an 8 ohm do? Thank you. Tweet
