Re: And Also

Heavy metal detoxing should be done slowly, or else the metals just enter the bloodstream and damage the kidneys. Cilantro is wonderful for many reasons, and is a nice, slow way to detox. It's best to blend it up with other things, including a good oil, or else it tends to get stuck in the digestive tract. My Mom eats it every day with apple slices for the calcium/minerals. I prefer it in something like a cold Quinoa pilaf or as a salad or pasta dressing, or garnish for soup.

Metals deposit themselves somewhere in your body within 24-48 hours of digestion and stay there. If you loosen them up and don't give them a way out other than the kidneys, worse things can happen than simply having them there somewhere deposited. So my best advice for heavy metals is to take steps to ensure that you don't get any more, such as using only filtered water and adding shower filters and getting good pots and pans.

Take care of your liver, eat good fats daily, occasionally Liver Flush then drink 1 pint of distilled water, get plenty of good minerals so they displace the bad, eat lots of cilantro, plus cholorella, spirulina, blue-green algea, and the body will release metals safely, slowly.

If anyone needs to do a more severe metal chelation, such as people who work with toxic waste or at a refinery, they should do so while under a doctor's care, someone who is very experienced with metal chelation. A good doctor will give you powerful chelation therapy (various compounds) in conjunction with drinking distilled water, colonics, etc.
