You can make ginger tea right from the root, just slice and simmer for about 20 minutes, but there are perfectly acceptable tea bags of ginger at the health food store. :) The one I really like I think is called Natural Remedies Digest Aid ginger tea? And you really must stock up on Yogi teas, India Spice is PURRfect for increasing the power of digstion (agni)! As a Vata I totally rely on it. They even have teas for each Dosha - Vata is naturally sweet with a bit of licorice ... really nice. :)
